Adult Social Care – Day Services
Camphill Wakefield offers a comprehensive Day Services provision for adults aged 18 and over, operating Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:30pm. Designed for individuals who have completed their formal education, our service provides meaningful, person-centred activities both on campus and in the wider community. We are based in our welcoming and well-equipped building, Hibernia.
Our Community Access Coordinator, Adrienne, also supports Graduates to take part in community-based volunteering, including local environmental initiatives, foodbank support and work on community allotments. Graduates regularly visit local supermarkets to complete shopping tasks that support cooking, craft and sensory activities. They are also actively involved in planning leisure activities such as cinema trips, bowling and nature walks.
Our Team:
Our Day Services Manager, Michelle Tooala, leads the provision and works in partnership with staff, parents and carers to ensure each Graduate is supported to thrive in their daily life.
